Traveler's Tales selected my story White Water Death about a drowning in Yosemite National Park as the Editor's Choice story. The essay won a Silver Award in their annual Best Travel Writing contest. In addition, my essay Boston Heat about running the 2004 Boston Marathon won a Gold Award, and my essay Whitetail Peak won a Bronze Award.
